Santa Down
Under
Santa (alias Father Christmas) makes a trip each year to sunny South Australia to take part in the annual "Motorcycle Toy Run".
The brain-child of the Motorcycle Rider's Association of South Australia (MRASA), the "toy run" has
grown over 3 decades to include 20,000 motorbikes.
They roar off from beach-side Glenelg to Hahndorf (in the Adelaide Hills), each carrying gifts for children who may otherwise not have much to be joyful about.
The sound of the bikes sweeping through the Heysen tunnel is truly awesome!
St Vincent de Paul Society didtribute the many thousands of christmas gifts to grateful families.
